Thursday, December 9th, 2010Is it okay to buy snowboarding gear for skiing?
I understand that snowboarding gear is a bit bagger. Would this be functional or practical for skiing? would i look out of place wearing for example the more articulated knees in the snowboarding pants.
I do like the look of the snowboarding gear as opposed to the skiing gear from a purely aesthetics stand
thanks for the advice in advance. I’ve only been skiing a few times and each time i used my mates old season gear.

It’s pretty common for skiers to wear snowboard outerwear. Snowboard stuff is usually easier to find and has a greater selection.
Many manufacturers are now making different cuts in their outerwear; Traditional, baggy and slim fits.
